Sailing Dory
After the beach cruiser, I foolishly decided that something larger might be fun. I still have the plan books, piles of study plans, and correspondence addressing such topics as cost, material to build from, time involved, cost, time involved, what type of plywood, cost, time.... Finally, I came across this series of flat bottomed double enders which where made of plywood, but had real charm on the drawings.  They were CHEAP TO BUILD, and WENT TOGETHER FAST, and all that, and well -- I just fell in love and have been in love ever since.  That was in 1995.  Below are only the high spots of what has happened since then.
